Renting a unit
How much does a storage unit cost?
Ground-floor units are £65 a week for 150 sq ft, £69 for 160 sq ft, £78 for 180 sq ft and £130 for the 300 sq ft two-storey unit. See units and prices.
When can I move in?
The ground-floor units are available from 1 November 2026. Pre-book now and your first week is free.
What is the minimum rental period?
One month. After that the agreement runs month by month and you give one month's notice to leave.
What do I need to pay before moving in?
One month's rent in advance and a security deposit equal to one month's rent. See the figures for each unit.
What documents do I need?
Valid government-issued photo ID and a signed Direct Debit mandate.
Is electricity included?
Electricity is billed separately at exactly the supplier's rate, with no markup. There are no utility deposits. Wi-Fi is free.
Access, security and facilities
Can I get in at night or at weekends?
Yes. Tenants have 24-hour access every day of the week.
Is the site secure?
CCTV covers the entrance and the area outside the units, and tenants can view it free on a smartphone app. Units are windowless at ground level.
Do the units have windows?
No. The ground-floor units are windowless. The 300 sq ft two-storey unit has an upstairs office or storage area with a window.
Are there toilets and a kitchen?
There are toilets, water and a shared tea and coffee room with a kettle.
Using the unit for your business
Can I use the address for my business and on Google?
Yes. Tenants can use the site's address for their business and register it on a Google Business Profile, following Google's guidelines. More about the address.
Can I receive post and deliveries?
Yes. The site can receive business mail, deliveries and visiting clients.
Can I store a car?
No. Car storage is not permitted on the premises.
What businesses are allowed?
All commercial and creative activities need approval before you move in, so the building insurance stays valid. Low-risk materials such as wood, paper, card, fabric and dry goods are fine. Melting or heating combustibles, bulk flammable liquids or gases, and cooking or hot food are not allowed. Full list.
Can I rent two units next to each other?
Yes, subject to availability. Some units have internal adjoining doors, so you can walk between them without going outside.
Offices, pods and booking
Do you have offices?
Two offices are being refurbished and will be available from January 2027 at £70 a week each. Office details.
Do you have anything smaller than a unit?
First-floor storage pods (15 to 35 sq ft) from £10 a week and rooms (50 to 100 sq ft) from £22 a week are coming in early 2027. These are guide prices. Pods and rooms.
