How it works

Several ground-floor units share internal doors with the units next to them. If you rent two or three of these adjoining units, the doors between them are unlocked for you, and the units work as one larger space. You can move stock and tools between them without going outside.

Security between neighbours

The adjoining doors are solid security doors. They stay locked unless the same tenant rents the units on both sides, so a neighbour can never use them to get into your unit.

Why businesses use it

Grow in place. When you outgrow one unit, add the next one instead of moving everything across town.
Two kinds of access. Pair a roller-shutter unit with a security-door unit and you get a shutter for deliveries and a normal door for day-to-day use.
Separate zones. Keep stock in one unit and work, packing or making in the other.
Flexible terms. Each unit is on the same rolling monthly terms, so you can add or give up a unit with one month's notice.
